PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE OF PAIN MANAGEMENT
Multiple studies international report that 15-30% of chief of complaint patients attend to a doctor (general practitioner or family doctors) because of musculoskeletal pain. A study titled Pain Morbidity in Primary Care in Med Journal Malaysia 2006, 31% of the visit to the primary care clinic (GP) is for pain problem. With this course, we able to equip doctors with pain management knowledge and skills to provide point-of-care investigation and treatment to patients.

On completion of the Professional Certificate In Pain Management, you will be able to:
Demonstrate a systematic understanding of patient care in pain management.
Critically evaluate current research in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary pain management.
Demonstrate a critical understanding of self-care promotion for acute (red flag) and chronic pain.
Deliver Point of Care (Pocus) ultrasound management strategies for investigating and treating pain conditions.
